Paul started his career at the United Overseas Bank in Geneva then worked in France as Consultant at Eurequip, Finance Director of Carborundum France and East Africa Area Controller of IPS.

He started his search career at Heidrick & Struggles in Paris, was Managing Director of Korn Ferry International in Paris and co-founded Rossignol Tod & Associés (1984-2004). In 2004, he co-founded Signium International France which was merged with Eurosearch & Associés in 2010.
